This is a great example of a Shape 3818 Black Basalt vase that Keith Murray produced for Wedgwood. The vase is 8 inches tall and 5 inches across at the rim.

It is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and has minimal discolouration on the inside. On the base the vase has the impressed "Wedgwood" mark and the impressed mark of the person that threw and turned the vase but it has missed having the red "Keith Murray" signature applied (which is not unusual with black basalt pieces.
