This is a very nice example of a Keith Murray Black Basalt beaker vase. It is decorated with incised chevrons and, interestingly, has the shape number and what looks like the original price written on the base along with the usual markings and full signature.

The vase is in excellent order with no chips or cracks and minimal discolouration to the inside. The vase stand 4 inches high.
