This is a stiking shape 57 Delphis bowl with a black pattern on a gold background. There is a bottle green colour coming through the black glaze and a light blue "orange peel" glaze across the bottom of the bowl.

The bowl has the mysterious "JOC" signature that the reference books can't figure out which decorator used at the factory. It dates to about 1968/70 - just before the end of the most individualistic pieces and the introduction of the limited range of glazes.

The bowl is 10.5 inches across and 2.5 inches high. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damage.
