This is a nice Poole Atlantic bowl thrown and decorated by Poole's mater potter, Guy Sydenham.

The Bowl is a shape 14/1 so it's 7.25 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches tall. The bowl has been left unglazed on the outside but has a wonderful glazing on the inside that shows Guy's love of experimenting with different techniques. Here it looks like he's painted on a glaze pattern and then sprayed it with a solvent so that it becomes speckled and runs slightly.

The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips or crack but does have some minor scuffing on the outside.
